Emily
Dickinson, remembered
almost as much her her secluded life as for her sparse, spiritual
poetry, she offers an aspect of 19th century woman writer's
life which is very different from Alcott's. Much of Dickinson's
life remains a mystery today. Only after her death was her
prodigious literary output discovered.
