Alyce Faye Bragg grew up and still lives in the hills of Clay County. She reveals her love for the country and its inhabitants in her writing, and also her deep love for God. She has written a weekly column for the Charleston Gazette since 1991, and also writes for the Clay County Free Press. She and her husband Criss are the parents of six children, 22 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Her new book, Laughter from the Hills, spans several generations and relates the humorous side of country living. Bragg is the author of two other books, This Holler is My Home and Homesick for the Hills.
