Susanna Holstein

Susanna "Granny Sue" Holstein has performed and presented workshops from Boston, Mass., to Bellingham, Wash. While her focus is Appalachian tales, ballads and folklore, her storytelling repertoire includes world folktales, storytelling with puppets, audience participation stories, and family stories. Winner of several writing awards, Holstein finds that writing and storytelling are natural companions.
