Geoffrey Cameron Fuller's fiction and nonfiction have been published in newspapers and magazines, literary and genre periodicals, fiction collections and classroom textbooks. In addition, he is the only writer to have been awarded arts fellowships by the West Virginia Division of Culture & History in all three prose categories: fiction, nonfiction, and memoir.
Most recently, in addition to nonfiction and commentary work, his short story, "Afterdamp," appeared in the book, Legends of the Mountain State (Woodland Press, Michael Knost, Ed.), and he contributed an essay on writing to Writers Workshop of Horror (Woodland Press, Michael Knost, Ed.), entitled "A Claustrophobic Locked in an Isolated Room: The Power of Setting and Description in Horror Fiction."
In 2007, his efforts contributed to the history, Monongah (Davitt McAteer, West Virginia University Press) winning a national award-a bronze IPPY, the Independent Publisher Book Award, in the history category. As a book evaluator and editor, Fuller has helped clients win awards and Fellowships, he was on the editorial board of Writer's Digest for a number of years. He currently writes, edits, and teaches in Charleston.
